Kendall and Kylie Jenner Coordinate Their Red-Carpet Style in Slinky, Sculptural Gowns

The sisters delivered standout looks at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala, blending their unique styles.

Though Kendall and Kylie Jenner often showcase contrasting fashion choices, they found common ground last night at the annual Academy Museum Gala. Each sister turned heads in slinky, sculptural designs that highlighted their individual styles. Kylie opted for a vintage Mugler gown from 1998, while Kendall chose a fresh-off-the-runway piece from Schiaparelli. Their outfits harmonized with similar design elements and a complementary color palette, making them a striking duo on the red carpet.

Kylie’s figure-hugging gown showcased her silhouette, featuring a sheer bodice adorned with sparkling nude sequins and a sleek black skirt with hip cut-outs. Despite its vintage origins, the look felt refreshingly modern.

To complement her elegant ensemble, Kylie styled her dark hair in a voluminous blowout, allowing her large green gemstone earrings to catch the light. She finished the look with a peachy lipstick that accentuated her signature pout and a matching nude manicure.

Kendall’s hair and makeup drew inspiration from classic Hollywood glamour. The model wore her blonde locks in a meticulously coiffed style reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, complete with soft curls and a deep side part. Her black gown, while classic, featured avant-garde cut-outs that added an edgy twist.

From Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2024 couture collection, Kendall’s dress boasted a halter neckline accented by a striking silver brooch, with a maze of bodice cut-outs leading to a sleek column skirt. She completed her sophisticated look with black peep-toe heels and elegant jewelry from De Beers.
