Beyoncé is officially embracing her Old Hollywood phase. After unveiling a stylish curved bob in a platinum hue a few weeks back, she traded in her cowboy-inspired looks for a more glamorous vibe showcased at the Women of the Year Awards in New York.
Held on October 8, Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards celebrated notable recipients, including iconic figures like Tina Knowles, Gen-Z inspirations such as Suni Lee and Sydney Sweeney, along with stars like Taraji P. Henson and Pamela Anderson. Beyoncé attended to support her mother, flaunting a stunning curly bob reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s classic hairstyle.
For the event, she transitioned from her previous curved bob and lengthy blonde locks to a retro bob that has become her recent favorite. With a side part, the voluminous curls provided ample shape, falling just above her shoulders for a beautifully curved silhouette. The platinum shade paired with the curls perfectly echoed Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look.
Keeping her glam minimal and radiant, Beyoncé let her hair take center stage. She opted for fluffy lashes, a touch of black eyeliner, and a glossy pink lip to complete her look.
In a video shared on Glamour’s Instagram, she can be seen getting emotional during Knowles’s heartfelt speech, proving that stars are just like us. Although she likely entered through a private entrance—resulting in fewer photos—she did manage to capture some sweet moments with her mother and Kelly Rowland.
As awards season progresses, we eagerly anticipate more Old Hollywood-inspired looks from Beyoncé, along with heartwarming moments like this one.
